Here There Everywhere
Limited Artist Edition
Here, There, Everywhere explores our shared human experience, suggesting it is mirrored in the very geometry of our lives. The project began as a chance discovery within a photographic archive spanning different continents and cultures, where the circle emerged as a recurring, universal visual anchor—whether manifested as a worn hat, a ceremonial vessel, or a drifting shadow.
This completely handmade artist's book is designed as a kinetic triptych, allowing the viewer to interact with three independent sequences simultaneously. By flipping pages left, right, and upward, thousands of unique visual combinations are created. This interactive choreography invites the reader to become an active participant in weaving connections between disparate moments in time and space.
Every element of the book is tactilely crafted to reinforce the theme of connectivity. The cover is bound in Momogami—a kneaded Japanese paper—where copper pigments settle in the folds like veins of precious metal. In the leporello edition, a copper-coated reverse side is revealed through hand-stitched seams, acting as a conductive nervous system running through the entire work. Interspersed within the sequences are the words Curiosity, Humble, and Gritty, serving as compass points that ground the abstract forms in the raw, resilient, and inquisitive nature of being human.
