Dos-à-Dos
/ II

Artist Edition 1/1
A unique artist’s book constructed as a classic two-entry dos-à-dos, secured by a free-form, interactive elastic binding. The book explores cycles, transformation, and reflections through an intimate dialogue between natural processes and tactile craftsmanship.
The two parts of the book correspond with one another: the first entry houses the seven original works inside protective pockets. Here, organic eco-prints and sun-bleached cyanotypes are detailed with precise, circular hand embroidery. The stitching is executed using lustrous silk thread alongside elements of hand-spun thread crafted from traditional brown calligraphy paper. Turning the book over reveals the second entry , opening into a bound sequence of high-quality reproductions on Epson photo paper.
The hand-lettered covers are wrapped in a deep blue, cyanotyped parchment paper processed into a soft momigami texture, while the pages rest within a midnight-black framing of Fabriano Tiziano paper. The title references the book’s dual entries and the recurring circular embroidered forms—a visual and tactile meditation on time, light, and matter.
Unique piece (1/1).
