​A fully functional and playable sliding puzzle set within a custom, handmade box construction.

 

Each movable tile is a tactile miniature landscape, built from deconstructed fragments, weaves, hand-twisted thread made from printed gampi paper, and tightly rolled strips of fine art paper remnants and rejected pigment prints. By shifting the tiles, the viewer is invited to physically reorganize what society has discarded, searching for order and balance.

 

Materials: Tiles made of 3.5 mm black cotton matboard, Baohong, Fabriano, Dragoncloud, Momogami, bamboo paper, various types of mulberry paper, hand-twisted gampi paper, silk thread, and pigmented inkjet print.
