Cyanotype on Paper
Postcards from Bygone Times
In this project, I explore memories of people and places we have left behind – and, for various reasons, may never return to.
Through cyanotypes in postcard format, mailed to myself, I preserve these fragments of the past. The deep blue speaks of memories slowly fading, while the hand-coloured details hold what time has not managed to wash away.
How do our memories change over time? Do we see them now as we saw them then, or do they return to us through a soft, rose-tinted haze?
